Get your climbing gear ready, Ovations is joining forces with Rock Spot Climbing in Boston to climb for a cause! Registration is $25, half will go to the gym, half will go to Ovations. Register early or online and collect pledges for your climb. Free lessons are going to be offered that day, so sign up now! Download our registration form here or sign up on our event registration site. In order to participate, each climber must fill out a waiver and bring it with them to the event. Event schedule:
Registration 9:30am–12pm
Free lesson slots: 10am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm

Climbers will need to have a partner (over the age of 14) who is certified to belay (controlling the rope that the climber is using) for them. To become certified, please visit Rock Spot Climbing before August 23, 2009 to take your complimentary beginner lesson. Lessons will also be offered the day of the climb-a-thon by appointment only at 10 am, 11:30 am, and 1 pm. Lessons take approximately one hour. **IF A CLIMBER DOES NOT HAVE A BELAY CERTIFIED PARTNER, THEY MAY HAVE A ROCK SPOT CLIMBING STAFF BELAY FOR THEM FOR A FEE OF $25.00 (To be paid to RSC prior to check-in on August 23rd). Rock Spot Climbing staff will be available for the duration of the climb-a-thon to belay for climbers who have paid the additional $25 for this option. All gear rentals are included in the registration fees.
